AS7240-24 Product-Ceiling Mount Speakers

The 100mm (4”) Ceiling Speaker is designed for use in Emergency Warning and Intercom Systems to provide clear and intelligible speech announcements. The extended frequency range makes the ceiling speaker ideal for use in a wide range of applications where quality background music and public address paging may also be required such as shopping centres, offices and hotels. The Ceiling Speaker can be installed in seconds to any 10-13mm ceiling tile using the integral snap fit fixing mechanism. The snap fit material is formulated to retain long service life, strength and spring action ensuring a snug vibration free fit to either gyprock tiles, mineral fibre or a fixed gyprock ceilings. A 22uF bi-polar capacitor is fitted to each speaker to provide end of line speaker circuit monitoring when used with the Ampac range of alarm systems. Cable access is provided for loop-in / loop-out wiring via two compression glands to a 4 way terminal block incorporating cable restraint clamp. A ceiling support is available to minimise sag and reduce damage to soft tiles. Fits between T bars for maximum support and is recommended for use with mineral fibre and acoustic ceiling tiles
