The Orbis Marine Heat Detector uses a single thermistor to sense the air temperature around the detector. There are six classes of heat detectors in the Orbis Marine range designed to suit a wide variety of operating conditions. Can be used for applications where smoke detectors are unsuitable. Ideal in environments that are dirty or smokey under normal conditions. Reduced incidences of false alarms. Increased reliability of detection. Approvals: Lloyd’s Registry, American Bureau Shipping, Korean Register & China Classification Society.
